Gift Aid
Our church is part of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain, registered charity 243715.
Gift Aid is a UK government scheme that allows charities to claim additional tax relief on donations (cash or direct to bank) made by UK taxpayers. Essentially, for every pound donated, the charity can reclaim 25p of the basic rate tax, effectively increasing the donation’s value by 25% at no extra cost to the donor.
If you are a UK Tax-payer, and make a donation to our Church, we are able to claim Gift Aid to increase significantly the value of your donation.
You will need to complete a gift aid declaration form. This form is available in Church (under the Narthex Notice Board) Alternatively you can download a copy here to print a copy to complete.
Please return the completed forms to Fr Nikitas or the Church Treasurer Barnabas, or post to:

In the case of cash and cheque donations Fr. Nikitas will issue you with your own unique anonymous Gift Aid number which you will need to write on one of the provided small brown envelopes used to hold your donation (supply in narthex).
