ORTHODOX CHURCH OF

ARCHANGEL MICHAEL AND SAINT PIRAN

Home

The church building is in the ownership of the Trustees of the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain.

(See Revelation 2:18-29 and Acts 16:14)

Formally established in 1922  by the Oecumenical Patriarchate, the Archdiocese has communities throughout Britain and in the Republic of Ireland. Although many of its people are of Greek origin, a significant number of non-Greeks are to be found in the widespread parishes and communities of the jurisdiction, a clear indication that Orthodoxy is open to all  (non-Greeks make up over 25% of the clergy of the Archdiocese).
